Thanks to PoE, that's how all my nostalgia works.

I actually had an IRL runin with Hathor many years back. I was working at this real liberal university at the time; various radical/feminist countercultural types were always showing up to give talks or just hang around the coffee bars. This one time, yep, Hathor showed up. The student newspaper did a glowing writeup on her, printed a few of her "essays", we even sold a couple feminist litcrit collections that featured her work at the book store. Totally bizarre to watch everyone go through the motions with a straight face.

IIRC, that month it was her and this chick who wrote a bunch of books on how meat eating was a sexist act (her evidence was basically a collection of drawings from another PoE classic, the guro/cannibal hentai site Kiyomi's Nightmare Room) I didn't get to see her, sadly- I was either sick, or she cancelled, or both.

I left some copies of her "taking a shit in the food court" comic over by the Dean's office later.

According to myth, Hathoor was going to wipe out all of humanity, but everyone knew that was how she was, so fooled her into thinking red beer was human blood so she could be satiated drunkenly on what she thought was genocidal carnage.

I can't help but think this person might be an imposter.

P.S. It looks like she's pulled a SomethingAwful with the comics section. Anyone know a good, quick workaround? Forcing the masses to pay ten bucks to read your revolutionary webcomic seems rather... Establishment, don't you think?

That's weird she charges people to read her crazy person comics now. You are very right in that it should go against her "ideals", but I guess everyone stops being an idealist when there is money involved.

She could just beg for donations like a regular crazy person. Not even JDR was mercenary enough to charge a recurring subscription fee!
