I have a phobia about the undersides of boats. I can look at boats in water, and even get aboard them, but I won't go near one in dry-dock. Seeing the underside of a boat on water is especially willy-inducing.
In fact, they left quietly and didn't even attempt to let anyone know the ship was sinking, leaving the rest of the passengers to die with the ship, more or less.
