uh, dude, Disney *IS* Pixar

Xenocide - 2013-02-17

No, they're not. They may exist under the same corporate umbrella, but they're two separate studios. As far as the creative side of things goes, Pixar still operates more or less the same way it did before Disney bought it.

Except John Lasseter.

I always need a medal.

"Wreck-It Ralph" is one of those movies that, had I seen it when I was six, it would have scared the shit out of me.

I'm talking about the "this is for your own good!" scene. Je-sus fuck Disney, you and your pathos...

WHO WANTS DESSERT - 2013-02-17

The ending was probably one of the most surprisingly emotional things I've seen in a cartoon since the ending of The Iron Giant. Movie owns way more than it has any right to.

Jet Bin Fever - 2013-02-17

Sheesh, after an Iron Giant comparison, maybe I should believe you. Still very skeptical though.

badideasinaction - 2013-02-17

WIR had way more Pixar in it than Brave did. And yeah, the climactic scene had some pretty emotional bits.

Only sad part is the young ones apparently didnt handle the "bad guy" being the hero thing. Most were just confused when the big bad guy wasn't at the wrong end of the slapstick.

Caminante Nocturno - 2013-02-17

Slender Man 2 seconds in.

Maru - 2013-02-17

this movie must be fucking ponderous, if this is any indication.

B_Ko - 2013-02-17

misterbuns - 2013-02-17
