ICP are first class trolls. They won me over when they namedropped Gong as a big influence in an interview about a decade ago.

The whole "Radio Gnome Invisible" trilogy actually seems like a logical predecessor to ICP's original, six album "joker's cards" thing when you think about it.

I didn't watch the whole thing. For all I know, he got the joke halfway through minute 6.

He does not get the joke, although he does briefly acknowledge the absurdity of him bitching about a long-forgotten pop culture incident that happened over a decade ago. Then he goes right back to it.

What happened was he posted a pic of himself, shirtless and apparently high, holding up a sign that said: "I am the other hundreds of thousands of people who died today other than Amanda fucking Todd."

So... guess what? He he was criticized for that, most notably by PZ Myers. A snipe from within the atheist community is a real threat to TJ's credibility, and he circled his wagons. The important thing to remember about the unendurable video that followed, with all the melodramatic handwringing about other kids who were bullied, and the starving people in Africa was that it was ALL COMPLETELY SELF-SERVING.

People care too much about Amanda Todd? Oh, yes that's very bad. Still, I'd like to see somebody just a little bit outraged about the posthumous slut-shaming of the dead girl, which continues to this day. You see it in the comments for TJ's video. They think he's giving them the green light.

Yeah, I remember thinking how strange it was that he wasn't slut shaming her. Then I found out why.

The same goddamn thing happened to him. Someone convinced him to make a dirty video of himself and then she leaked it to 4Chan. He addressed it directly, didn't apologize, and the whole thing pretty much went away because this sort of thing doesn't follow men the way it does women. I'm guessing he avoided criticizing her for making the same choices he made because he didn't want it to become a discussion about him.

On a related note, shouldn't this video have a "small penis" tag?

I don't think slut-shaming is his style. He's like, you know, beyond all that christian-based sexual morality. He's more of the "feminists should be raped" school of rhetoric.
