Not at all; she's as sloppy as could be. Great two-mallet marimba technique is distinguished by precision that is so great you don't even notice, as well as significant dynamic control, which she doesn't even attempt. She plays the entire piece ff.

Paul and his lady friend remind me of those thespians from high school that nobody could stand.

In other words, all I could think while watching their routine was how much better Fred and Carrie could have pulled this off on Portlandia.

It's funny you mention that, because me and my ladyfriend did the exact same kind of skit in our high school Drama Club. It was the first thing I thought of when Pee Wee was doing his bit. Only difference is I was dressed in drag.
