I think that sums up their reasoning. The only reason they don't wait is due to not witnessing a good person being cheated whose short comings don't seem to be immediately unfortunate or even consider the possibility that there's such a thing as unfortunate.

They're the kind of people who start getting pissed at the homeless because they're tired of being obligated to cry and mourn for them. Not just because they can't take in the thought that there is more than the person in the shortcomings. But because they feel invulnerable.
