Super powerful pan-galactic aliens that are searching for water, human brain energy to power their hard drives, precious metals, genetic diversity or human-creativity-magic or love-power with which they can use to get out of the rut their race has gotten in from being so powerful and boring and uncreative, hidden power crystals that power their powerful ships, etc.
