Sharky really baffles me; to this day I will not understand his popularity. I am amazed that he still is greeted with such enthusiasm after 11 years. I think he would have died off long ago if it had not been for the great furriers at the cons, who cheer him on. This is the reason why he still lives, and continues to bring happiness and laughter to us all. As we all get older in life we must have things to believe in to keep us young at heart. Sharky is that fountain of youth for me. Long after I have physically left this earth, sharkys soul will continue to be there, at each convention, walking the halls. I guess in a small way he has become, immortal thanks to the love you have given him. I want to express my gratitude for making him so popular, and look forwards to bringing him out again each year.
