He made fun of Jeff Seid and Jeff's sordid fans decided to make him pay. Apparently a 'not on the internet' kind of make him pay.
So yes, a bit of playful ribbing was responded to by showing up at his house and harassing him and his partner via shouted epithets, etc.
Basically the internet is disgusting people.

Doomstein - 2013-07-22 I believe that this greek god of a man Scooby made fun of another (younger and granted more attractive in the face) Adonis named Jeff Sied, and claimed that Jeff uses steroids and isn't a natural body builder.
This infuriated Jeff's minions and caused a backlash that 4chan capitalized on. 4chan got Scooby's personal info through social engineering and released his address and whatnot to Sied's buddies who "allegedly" made death threats toward him and his loved ones and personal visits to his home to confront him.
