You did it.

THIS ISN'T FROM THE SMS VERSION, COCKSUCKER.

This is... and Ronald's appearance is far creepier.

But obviously it lacks the amazing soundtrack.

Old_Zircon - 2013-07-26

SNes or Genesis?

Jeriko-1 - 2013-07-27

Wanna have some FUN?!
Let's go to a magic land where you can be brutally killed!

*Wait, what?!*

sosage - 2013-07-26

Soundtrack by the asshole who mans the sound fx board on your local D-grade morning zoo radio show.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2013-07-27

Fun fact: The guy who did this game's soundtrack is Steve Tyler's (lead singer of Aerosmith) cousin.

Old_Zircon - 2013-07-27

Fun fact: even this game's soundtrack is better than Aerosmith.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2013-07-27

Indeed, Old Zircon.

Ronald was mentored by Coily the Spring Sprite. But then he took things too far.

When I was 7 or 8, my grandparents got me a brand new NES game. It was called McKids, and it was next to unplayable.

I played the fuck out of it, because I was 7, and that was the only new game I got that year. Never did beat it, and even game genie couldn't help make it fun. Stars for making me remember that crap.

Old_Zircon - 2013-07-27

I have a copy of McKids someplace. I found it in a box of junk by the side of the road a few years ago. Should have left it in its natural habitat probably.

Also, I still remember turning on Super Metroid for the first time and HOLY CRAP THE GAME TALKS! I don't know if this is true or not, but I heard somewhere ages ago that that voice clip that plays supposedly used up a big chunk of the cartridge's memory. No idea if that's true.

Anyway, my point here is that depending on when this game came out, it's scary to think that opening song may have blown some kid's minds.

Old_Zircon - 2013-07-27

They definitely did. Those sample in the opening theme for Skate Or Die 2 were really exciting at the time, although they probably contributed to everything about that game that wasn't the half pipe being worthless.

Sexy Duck Cop - 2013-07-27

Not sure about Super Metroid, but the story goes that the triumphant SE-GA! clip at the beginning of Sonic games took up over half the cartridge's memory.

RocketBlender - 2013-07-27

Okay, last time I comment on this, I swear. I went to look up a gameplay video to see what kind of game it even was. I understand it's your company logo, virgin media, but having a McDonald's game meant for kids groaning 'viiiirgin!' at the player the moment you turn the console on seems like a bad idea.
