None of that was funny. It was the opposite.

dementomstie - 2013-08-08

Just follow that "Newsbusted" tag and see how unfunny she's been for years, you'll be amazed.

chumbucket - 2013-08-09

Shake the boobs, flash the hands once in a while, arch the eyebrows, smile after every "joke" and wait for the laughtrack to finish.

Senator_Unger - 2013-08-08

Wow, she looks really haggard. That job must be decimating her soul.

FaceBusted

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-08-08

She's had that expression botox'd into her skull permanently.

Aelric - 2013-08-09

Holy god, yeah. Playing the earliest one in the tage compared to this one, yoyu see those laugh-lines around her mouth become slash wounds.

Kieran27 - 2013-08-09

When I see that haggard face and fake tan complexion, I stop seeing this lady pretending to be in her idea of a news room. Instead I see her perched on a bar stool, smoking in one hand and drinking a beer in the other, smiling at younger men in a cougar style way, trying to prove to herself and the world she's still got it.

The look here is from a few months staying at that bar till close, and going home alone every night.

The following is a very long wall of text....

I had to look into the poll that touted that half of non-whites backed voter ID laws. Here's what I found:

http://bit.ly/14R3iKB

Registered voters making 49k or less in this poll: 49%

Uh, that doesn't seem right, half of America makes 49k or less?

http://bit.ly/1346P8t

Oh, well of course they don't. Obviously, in this survey more than half of the people aren't going to give two shits about supplying a state-issued ID card because they have the time and money to acquire a driver's license, and in no way is Voter ID laws going to affect them negatively.

The actual question in question: "Do you think it's a good thing or a bad thing if election laws were changed to [...] require voters to show identification in order to vote?"

Sorry if I have a problem with this. It's just that it doesn't say "state issued photo ID" in order to vote. So it's really not talking about what Voter ID laws would entail. Unless, there are states that would allow me to bring in my shopper's card for proof of citizenship, then that would be more accurate.

All the other questions in regards to voting rights show that Americans do not like how the state Republicans have acted recently (I'm just showing registered voters, but the results are even more in favor of voting rights when you take into account of all the people polled):

Allow early voting in elections before Election Day: 67% Yes

Allow voters to vote on Sunday before the election?: 59% Yes

Have same day registration so people can register to vote on Election Day?: 52% Yes

Do you think Discrimination in voting: 53% Remains a problem and should be addressed by Congress

26% of those polled think that the Voting Rights act should be a priority over the next couple of years for Congress and Obama, while 28% think it should be an immediate priority.

But they latch on to the fact that people making over 50k a year don't care about showing an ID they already have. Oh and they are non-white. Great job guys.

P.S. From this video's disclaimer: We love seeing how many people won't read this disclaimer and realize the laughtrack is a joke itself.

Oh, so you also don't really understand what a joke is either. Well, that's already obvious from the video.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-08-08

"The laughtrack is a joke itself."

It's only a joke if it's ironic, like when you're watching a send-up of sitcoms and someone makes an intentionally bad joke. Which means that they don't believe what they've written is funny, or they don't understand the concept behind a laugh track...

I can chalk cognitive dissonance over a lot of right-wing doublethink to being evil or greedy, but this is just a gaping hole in their beings. It's like a severe autistic trying to understand emotion.

Funny is when people I don't like suffer.

Yay! Parallel universe punchline time!

... what Paul Ryan didn't say was that the House thinks September and October only happen in Germany. In related news, the Republicans have all bought their fall Lederhosen and Beer Steins.
... hey, get out of my parallel universe broadcast! NO YOU CAN'T STEAL YOUR OWN PUNCHLINE... dammit.
... these days Congressman aren't nearly as partisan as... WHO THE HELL GAVE YOU ACCESS TO MY INTEROCITOR!?
... the Koch Brothers showed up on his doorstep with a birth certificate and brownface while holding a parrot and a margarita.
... ..., ..., yeah, nothing.
... in other news, Miami lost last weekend due to Republican manipulation in the Senate THAT HAS GONE TOO FAR.
... of course the word "horrendous" is liberalmediaspeak for "he really sucks at football."
... strict voter ID laws, such as database of voter registrations tied directly to the database of domestic terrorists.
...

memedumpster - 2013-08-08

But really, the O-Bomber and the Media really softballed in those two jokes for her, right across her plate. At least she knows she can grab the easy ones.
