I didn't even know another TRUCKS movie existed. I presumed it was just the international title for MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE (as well as the title of the original Stephen King short story upon which MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE was based very loosely).
I know this scene is played mostly for laughs with ketchup 'blood', so I don't feel too bad for pointing out that any RC vehicle you can get from a normal toy store is mostly plastic and could easily be punted by anyone with even below-average leg power.
Directing Maximum Overdrive was the second best thing King did (after writing The Body). There aren't enough superlatives in the English language to do Maximum Overdrive justice.
MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE was one of those movies that received dreadful reviews when it first came out (I was eleven at the time, so it came out about the same era I was starting to pay attention to movie reviews) but, if you take it for the intentional camp it is, it's quite awesome.
The one good thing to come out of Maximum Overdrive is the AC/DC song "Who Made Who?", which was released on a nice little album along with "Hells Bells" and "For Those About to Rock We Salute You".

Stephen King has pointed out that both AC/DC and the Ramones have written songs to go with his stories and that thats pretty cool whether or not you think he sucks
