1. They're gunna take yer guns! Well, that hasn't happened yet, it's not going to happen with this congress, and laws have been loosened in several states AFTER Sandy Hook and every other massacre. If anything, these shootings bizarrely have the opposite effect these whackos fear.
2. They wanna kill everyone for population control! Again, that's a really strange idea, since we have no shortage of people and no sign we're going to decrease our national, if not global, population any time soon.
