Truly great.

save states

Nostalgic video game reference, before save states, when gaming was hard and we were all superior.

Their plan to obtain one cent was nearly flawless. But they made the mistake of mugging the furious looking bodybuilding karate master with the skull belt buckle.

A common error.

They were probably counting on him having high Attack Power, but low Speed and a very predictable pattern.

This is great. It reminds me of.. that one film that was on here a long while back (2006 or 07) that had that sort of SNK look, like Metal Slug.. I tried to find it but I can't remember the name, tags, etc. but there was a giant baby you needed to kill..

I think Paul Robertsons Pirate Cabana Baby is what you seek:

If that's correct, I was going to make the same comparison. He actually made a Metal Slug styled game called Mercenary Kings on kickstarter last year, as well as already made the Scott Pilgrim game, which I expected a little more out of honestly, since the video he did before that was this:

It was good-ish, but I hope Mercenary Kings is better.

I couldn't get into the Scott Pilgrim game either. It's really hard to describe but it felt like it lacked some sort of omph to it.

Yeah, most beat em' ups are repetitive because they're old, but it really had no excuse for that. They didn't even have a decent moveset, let alone barely any unlockables. I reallly like PR as an artist, but that was too bloody lazy to me, especially when you had something like Castle Crashers to ape. I always thought if he, Corey Lewis, and those Behemoth guys teamed up, they would make a most fantastic beat em up/game.

infinite zest - 2014-01-03

Yeah! That's the one!

Caminante Nocturno - 2014-01-03

Pro-capitalism cartoon.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-01-06

This would've been really popular on Newgrounds back in 200X.
