5 for the soundtrack alone. This and Multiple Maniacs are probably my favorites still.

Also love the soundtrack. He just went and raided his personal collection of 45s with no regard for music rights, which is why this and Multiple Maniacs have never seen proper DVD releases.

The beginning scene is the one and only thing Waters has ever truly regretted filming, as he just left the chickens in the gutter to rot. He learned his lesson in Pink Flamingos, and ate the chicken afterwards.

This film has its moments, but it's REALLY slow at times.

Mondo Trasho does take quite a bit of patience and attention to watch, but I've always loved it.

This, Pink Flamingos, and Polyester are probably my favorite John Waters films.

Those two are my other favorites, too. I actually haven't seen all of Female Trouble though. Desperate Living is OK.

Polyester's such a great balance between his classic stuff and his commercial stuff.
