Danny Zigler seems like he is half assing it here, which might explain why he doesn't want video evidence of his concerts floating around.

I once saw megadeth sing Dave Mustaine instruct the audience to kick some kids ass for wearing a Metallica t-shirt, but we already knew Mustaine was a total dickhead.

Scrimmjob - 2014-02-22

blah, singer not sing

EvilHomer - 2014-02-22

If you show up to a Megadeth concert wearing a Metallica shirt, you deserve what you get.

Scrimmjob - 2014-02-23

true, it was a festival though, so it wasn't like everyone was there to see megadeth.

Cena_mark - 2014-02-22

If that happened in movie theaters it would end piracy during the theatrical releases of films. Don't hate because the man actually figured out an effective means of stopping piracy.

exy - 2014-02-22

Hey, man, those guys up on the screen can't see you, you know.

MongoMcMichael - 2014-02-22

Danzig is an asshole? For making a shitty cellphone vid of a shitty concert actually interesting?

Cellphone camera-guy should be thanking him.

EvilHomer - 2014-02-22

What's up with all the queefs on YT flapping their arms over "piracy"? Is that a thing now with the copyright crusaders?

NO FILMING IS STEALING YOU ARE STEALING GLENN'S PROPERTY AND TAKING FOOD OUT OF HIS AMPLE MOUTH.

Cena_mark - 2014-02-22

Its okay to steal from Justin Beiber or Metalica, but not Danzig. Danzig works hard for his money. He's not a big superstar like those guys. Putting a video of him in concert is no different than stealing an apple from an apple stand.

EvilHomer - 2014-02-22

But in what sense can a live performance even be considered property? If the concert was being recorded by Danzig for the purpose of creating a live concert video, then I suppose you could argue that some shmuck making a keepsake bootleg in some way infringes on Danzig's ability to monetize his own performances after the fact (assuming he actually has this right in the first place). It'd be a stupid argument, and it would still beg the question of how live performances can be considered property, but it could be made. However, this does not appear to be such a concert, so even that line of defense is invalid.

As for stealing apples, the two situations are nothing alike, and at any rate I'm sure AJ would be man enough to handle the thief with her own four hooves, rather than crowdsourcing the beating like a little coward.

There's a reason Danzig gets other people to do his fighting for him. http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=1022

Old_Zircon - 2014-02-22

Filming a live concert has always been bootlegging (not piracy). This is about as basic and fundamental as copyright law gets. It's just completely unenforcable now (but the flip side of that is the people filming it aren't like;ly to be making money selling their film later like they used to because everyone's filming everything so the films aren't really marketable anymore).

StanleyPain - 2014-02-22

I hate fucktards who can't put their phones away at concerts, but if this guy thinks he's blowing people's minds about what a dick Danzig is, he's about 20 years late to the party.

candyheadrobot - 2014-02-22

I don't get it, aren't you supposed to be mildly scared of going to shows like this?

Nominal - 2014-02-22

Metalocalypse has really gotten low key since I've last seen it.

Binro the Heretic - 2014-02-22

I don't care about piracy or bootlegging or whatever the fuck you want to call it. But it is kind of irritating that so many people would rather spend their time record their lives rather than experiencing them.

I don't think the guy deserved to have his ass kicked, though.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-02-25

I love the reactionary skinhead.
