This was entertaining, but in retrospect, they really should have gotten to someplace more interesting (the school maybe) and then recorded this. Starting from the beginning is kinda lame (a lesson I would have thought they would have learned from their abortive San Andreas video)

The dilemma is that the opening 10 minutes of Silent Hill are the best part (maybe even the best in horror game history), but everything between that and the school is the worst part (with the school itself being the best "dungeon" level).

As I remember, you had to get the 3 keys in a specific order. Only one of the three locations marked on the map would have a key at it. Once you picked it up, another key would appear at another location and the third key wouldn't appear until you got the second key. So you could run around all day at one location looking for a key that isn't there, not knowing you had to do them in a certain order. It really sucked and I know tons of people who quit before getting to the school.

Shame.

Ass to this that this was a 'No Map' run. He has been doing this for some time now, the concept is to play something boring and then talk about gaming news over it, and occasionally about the game they are playing. Hence it's title 'Let's Drown out". Like a podcast, sorta. The problem is that they keep selecting good games and get distracted, making it a bit more like a let's play. Still, regardless of that, it's entertaining to listen to guys doing any let's play that aren't trying to be cartoon characters. Reminds me of how entertaining let's play can be when people aren't trying to get famous from it.

-1 for Yahtzee constantly complaining that he'd rather be playing SH2.
