I'm a sack of dicks and should have treated you all with more basic human decency, understanding and a sense of a bigger picture than our petty disagreements over our arbitrarily shared culture. I truly believe we all want to live in a world that doesn't suck, and that we can share this world with one another without the need for bouncers or self-bouncery. That said, the whole lurid baggage of the Alex Jones cohort doesn't make up for the fact I agree with on one or two things.

Patting down kids is not okay, and Pillager is exactly right about why. I think the abuse is probably partly in part systemic, for reasons having to do with the nature of government, and that includes the awesome responsibility of preventing another... and other factors. I'd like to see some investigation into whether the abuse is systemic, but wild accusations without evidence are a poor excuse for that, and showing this footage and making unfounded accusations amounts to exploitation.
