Love the synergy between the video and submitter name.

infinite zest - 2014-04-25

So, can we blame chamtrails for everything after Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness?

OxygenThief - 2014-04-25

No that's Cranio-Rectal Syndrome and he's been suffering with it for over a decade.

Old_Zircon - 2014-04-25

Let's not let at least 50% of Mellon Collie (including the title, because come on) of the hook.

exy - 2014-04-25

Oh thank god, OZ, I thought I was the only one.

Space Odin - 2016-08-20

More like anything after Gish

I have an old friend who in the past few years has really climbed on board the chemtrails crazy train with absolute gusto. He's now infamous for unwanted emails and threads about the insidious threat the government is perpetrating on us.

Nothing I say can deter him or his like-minded friends in this; he sent out that picture of a test plane with shiftable water ballast tanks in it, a photo which chemtrailers are always saying is proof. I tried to talk him down but he just gets all soapboxy and says Im just a sheeple for assuming the government isn't doing something nefarious to its own people in the skies.

I tried to explain they could just put it in the water supply and it would be much easier and about 1000% times more effective. He got this far-off look in his eye for a minute and then earnestly said, "Well I'll bet they're doing that too!"

THANKS FOR TAKING MY FRIEND AWAY CHEMTRAILS

The so called "chem-trail" is in fact a long acting hallucinogenic aerosol that causes the user to experience feelings of paranoia and irrational fear. You can see the effects wherever you go, so you know it is a pervasive problem.

memedumpster - 2014-04-25

I am going to start the conspiracy that tea kettles also produce chemtrails. I apologize for any future inconvenience.

Riskbreaker - 2014-04-25

Seems that the whole science-phobia movement has become strongers, and has just fuel all these conspiracy theory wave. Is not just a couple of weirdos in the shopping mall drawing circles in news articles, far more people are getting into this.

OxygenThief - 2014-04-25

I've always wanted to make a website that treated the story of the Telephone Avatar who lives beneath the Pentagon from Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol like it was a real conspiracy and see if I could get it to take at all in the community.

memedumpster - 2014-04-25

Riskbreaker, did you see the New Cosmos where Neil deGrasse Tyson dared utter the age of the Earth? The response from the religious brain algae has been lemmingtastic.

Old_Zircon - 2014-04-25

That's more or less how Robert Anton Wilson made his career.

Riskbreaker - 2014-04-25

I've been seeing more and more people jumping into the whole chemtrails/vaccines/what not. It's fucking bizarre, the argument i heard last time i talked with somebody was "science guys and the goverment hide too many things from us"

fedex - 2014-04-25

Kind of how L Ron Hubbard made his career too

Redford - 2014-04-26

Health ranger here reporting that the government is buying flouride-based acids from china and dumping them into your water supply in an attempt to something something poison everyone I guess.

Oscar Wildcat - 2014-04-26

Crazy Liberals claim that the cancers are from industrial waste illegally dumped in our neighborhoods, BUT WE KNOW THE TRUTH.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2014-04-25

I knew he'd gone a little batty when he wrote "Doomsday Clock". Then next thing I knew, I saw him being interviewed by Alex Jones. And now this.

..................................

Oh well, I'll always love you, Siamese Dream. ;___;

Riskbreaker - 2014-04-25

I'm surprised Axel Rose hasn't got into the truther/conspiracy business. He seems like the kind of faded musician who would go for that.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-04-25

Shut up and play your music Billy Snorgan. Oh wait... no, please don't play your music.
Well okay, play a few of your songs, just a few of the old ones, and then leave.

MacGyver Style Bomb - 2014-04-25

Now I really hate him!

Billy the Poet - 2014-04-25

His music wasn't enough?

oddeye - 2014-04-25

"Just when you thought you couldn't loath him more, he sinks to new depths" or something. I have no opinion on mediocre musicians either way, he's beneath my contempt. I doubt he will ever be hateable on the same level as say Stephen Fry.

Adham Nu'man - 2014-04-25

"Remember when the sky was blue"

"AND THEN THERE WERE AIRPLANES!"
