Got as far as hearing about the "jootical" branch of government and then decided I could probably spend my time better by smashing my face with a hammer.

spicediver - 2014-05-10

For you.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2014-05-10

Hammer time.

The description for this video has a link to itself.

Xenocide - 2014-05-10

It just bothers him how much the government has gone downhill since the golden age of slavery.

Cena_mark - 2014-05-10

I only listened to a few seconds of disjointed incoherent ranting. He saying the government is telling us what religions we can and can't be. Most likely a belief formed over the growing acceptance of homosexuals.
Oh, and Mr. Freedom does not allow comments or ratings for his videos.

That guy - 2014-05-10

Commenting on his videos violates his free speech just like
those homos marryin' violates his freedom of religion.

ashtar. - 2014-05-10

I don't recall there being a comments section on THE CONSTITUTION

VOTE FOR ME, I ALMOST KNOW HOW TO SPEAK!

Caminante Nocturno - 2014-05-10

Q: Can you describe our current situation?

A: Not with intelligible words, no.

Oscar Wildcat - 2014-05-10

He can't because it's all a bunch of nonsense to rope his neighbors into helping him not pay for the grazing rights to the public land he uses. I can understand that he's a cheap sonafabitch and doesn't want to do his fair share, but this other thing of dragging in America and Freedom and all that is unconscionable. If you want to use our land, you need to pay for it. Sorry buddy, but property rights are basic to this country. If you want to steal our land, perhaps you'd fare better under communism?

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2014-05-10

This nonsensical patter is akin to an accidental version of a song like "There She Goes" by the La's.

It sounds very 80's prog-rock, doesn't it? It was even covered by the pop group, "Sixpence None The Richer," an ex-Christian band. I've heard kids and pre-teens singing it without a thought, because it's got words they like in it that push all those "this is a semi-romantic song that is so ME."

It's also about heroin.

Say "freedom" and "liberty" enough and you could be talking about building a giant robot of Ron Paul to constantly stomp babies into a bloody pulp while making Koch Industries's CEO the de facto president of the united states, and people like Bundy's followers would nod, agree, and threaten to shoot anyone who questioned it.

ashtar. - 2014-05-10

GOVERNMENT BAD
GOVERNMENT BAD
GOVERNMENT BAD

Pretty much the sole and complete message of the American right for the last thirty years.

memedumpster - 2014-05-10

Bon Jovi, noooooooooo!

He doesn't believe government is bad, he believes government where his dumb bigot gunhumping opinions aren't a law he can use against black people, women, the poors, and gays is bad. Government not to his standards is bad.

He would govern the shit out of us if given the power. Govern us in fire, death, and hatred. That's why we need our government, to put six hundred thousand soldiers between sanity and him.

Binro the Heretic - 2014-05-10

All right-wing nutjobs want to be little emperors.

They object to anything giving power to the people they wish to subjugate and exploit.

ashtar. - 2014-05-10

I'm out of stars but have these J's
JJJJJ

Binro the Heretic - 2014-05-10

I can honestly believe George Washington and all our other "founding fathers" were EXACTLY like this guy.

But whereas Washington et al were fighting a government half a world away whose military was already stretched thin fighting other countries, Bundy and his supporters are going to find themselves up against forces that could swat them like bugs.

Oscar Wildcat - 2014-05-10

You'd think so, but read what some of them wrote ( especially Washington ). Washington would right a twenty page exegesis on the subject if asked. You might think he was an arrogant twit, but you'd respect his informed opinion. This idiot just doesn't want to pay for using our land.

The oil and timber people I have met are exactly the same way. They go on and on about this nonsense, yet all their business models hinge on getting goods and services from the government at a tiny fraction of their true cost.

exy - 2014-05-10

Since you are supposed to sign up with Mr. Bundy for links to the rest of the videos in his series, I may as well share the gawker link that compiles the series, from which this link was harvested:

http://gawker.com/cliven-bundy-is-now-offering-awful-u-s-histo ry-lessons-1573105042

Not much different than this one.

PegLegPete - 2014-05-10

I'm trying to categorize people like Cliven Bundy and what appears to be a large swath of the political right. I know drawing up generalizations isn't the greatest idea, but I'm trying to describe them without using the much abused, and historically inaccurate, "Libertarian".

I think they can generally be categorized as Anarcho-Capitalists, or Minarchists with a heavy capitalist bent. What say you?

Oscar Wildcat - 2014-05-10

I would say they imagine themselves to be both, but in fact are neither. If they had to rent their land from private landholders their businesses would fail, so nix on the capitalist thing. And they distrust communal efforts, outside of their own personal good, so nix on old school anarchism.

We need a new word. Libertardians?
