i hate it when i can't skip the cutscenes

Interesting concept but took way too long to get anywhere, and the acting was worse than Command and Conquer's cutscenes.

For some reason I was reminded of District 9, or the short that preceded it anyway. I heard that they were using that whole backstory as sort of a testing ground for a possible Halo movie: A unique perspective on a used-up premise. The last 4 minutes are pretty cool.

Felt like the opener to Quake II.

Good stuff.
However, the sad truth about PMCs:
There are no hot chicks, ever.
Nobody gets to do airborne shit except ex-Delta guys.
New-guy hijinx and hilarity on your first mission are usually limited to people asking semi-seriously if you're going to get them killed.
Mind you, the part about people getting screwed out of death benefits for stupid reasons is spot-on.
