in my heart this will always be my favorite.

Scrimmjob - 2014-09-10

For me it's between this one and the one with the Sampo.

One of my faves, as well. Any time they did kids' films was a treat.

This is the first MST3K-ed movie to recieve a game adaptation. iOS and Steam's Fairy Tale About Father Frost, Ivan and Nastya (simply Father Frost on iOS). It's based upon the original audio and not this dub, but it's still hilariously obvious. Also, the Steam version seems to have a nasty unavoidable crash after the first part.

Yep...magic sleigh.

Not that they do a particularly good job with it, but that's supposed to be Baba Yaga, with her hut on chicken legs:

I was interested to learn about the apparent origins of chicken leg houses in these sorts of fairy tales, The Sami people and their raised storehouses:

Wow. How could you NOT imagine that thing running around and crossing roads and shit?

I've seen this episode dozens of times and I still laugh at Mike's delivery of "Aww where the hell did I park!?"

Pretty much any one of these kids' adventure/mythology movies that seemed to have been filmed in SovColor (what they called "Russo-Finnish co-productions"): Sinbad, The Day the Earth Froze, The Sword and the Dragon, and this one) were solid episodes.

Yes, certain types of films tended to yield really great episodes, like the spy films.

EvilHomer - 2014-09-11

This isn't the one where Shannon Elizabeth gets raped to death by a snowman, is it?

Kabbage - 2014-09-11

One of my favorites. Used to watch this one a lot on the shitty taped-over-to-infinity VHS I used to store MST3K eps on.

The entire sequence from 51:00 onward is classic MST.

After I finally saw Frozen all it made me want to do was watch this again

Also, dupe, but the original is long gone
