A really good friend of mine went there with his family. At one point his daughter was spinning around on this merry-go-round thing by herself. Behind her was a glass block wall and on the side there was this massive chunk of glass that had somehow been broken and split off, somewhat pyramid shaped, and placed back into the wall. No idea how it got damaged initially but it was just kind of lying there and the next minute my friend looks over and sees this giant chunk of jagged, broken glass, about a few feet long just fall over as his daughter is spinning in circles.

It tore a gash open in her stomach. They had been talking to an employee who absolutely freaked out. The grandmother was apoplectic and thought her granddaughter was going to die.

They offered my friend free tickets. He demanded they pay the hospital bill. They offered him free tickets again. Guess who never went back to Love Land?

His daughter is fine now.

Also my friend was a foreigner so he probably didn't research the theme of this place before going there...

I wonder if this is the direct response to the North Korean Friendship Exhibition.

There is actually a theme park located right near the border with South Korea. I like to think they built it just out of pure spite.
