I'm not trying to weigh in on the sexism angle.

The only thing I ever refer to as a cunt is my dog, but I only do so when he's being a huge cunt. Other times he's an asshole, an obstinate prick, an utter tit, garbage-eating dickhead, etc. Mostly he's just a sweetheart though, and I'm quite thankful for that.

If you don't think he's gone through his entire presidency and never once noticed the militarization of the police force wake the fuck up. I'm SO sure the gun-and-cop-suckers in the GOP would have HAPPILY let Obama (or anyone else) end the program, being reasonable and not-at-all fetishists of anything that could bring "law and order" to inner cities. Especially since it got started under their last god, Bush II.

I never expected much out of Obama because I heard his campaign speeches. They had about as much actual substance as a Bush speech and just screamed "another term or two of business as usual."

Do you realize that he never gave a fuck about the issue of police militarization until it became inconvenient for him, publicly? Obama only speaks out on something when he has something to gain by it. And he needs all the popularity points he can get for making fake-concern speeches over this sort of thing so he can bomb the fuck out of people threatening the petrodollar.
