for stopping to get out and laugh at him

Crab Mentality - 2014-12-17

I'm going to give this the classic POE "They were both wrong". Sure, the guy losing control of his truck to give her the finger was clearly wrong, but the person filming the incident was clearly putting a lot of effort into filming him from behind, the side, the front, and the other side.

Get off your phone, lady! Your crash would be equally laughable!

StanleyPain - 2014-12-17

To be fair it really doesn't take much effort to turn on the camera and just hold it, especially if you're driving an automatic or something. I've done it on a few rare occasions incase some dipshit rear-ended me and I never really was out of control of my car.

spikestoyiu - 2014-12-17

No, only one of them is driving a pickup truck, which means that only one of them is an enormous asshole.

oddeye - 2014-12-17

Judging by the amount of pickup trucks that I see here in America every other person must be a rugged outdoor construction worker that crying women and kids can rely on to haul rolls of chicken wire and shit

chumbucket - 2014-12-17

America hauls

Trucks. And the beasts that drive them.

Scrimmjob - 2014-12-17

I agree that both drivers are people I'd rather not share the road with. I gain great personal pleasure from fucking with people who are in too much of a hurry, and are stuck behind me. So I guess I'm an asshole driver too.

oddeye - 2014-12-17

just remember when you are fucking around on the road that you could kill a bunch of kids in another car. If you can live with yourself knowing that then you deserve to die.

Gmork - 2014-12-17

The complete and utter disregard for life and limb while on the road constantly baffles me. I don't need poetv to lose faith in people, I can look right outside onto the main boulevard for people like this.

Old_Zircon - 2014-12-17

I remember years ago reading about a pretty well designed study that suggested that people's perception of "personal space" expanded in proportion to the speed they were traveling, and that at 60mph something like a 100 meter radius was psychologically equivalent to 24 inches when you weren't in a car. Meaning any time someone passes you it's psychologically comparable to facing off with the drill sergeant in Full Metal Jacket.

But yeah, the woman filming is a shit brick, too.

Old_Zircon - 2014-12-17

Chumbucket, about a decade ago a band I was in transported the gear to all our shows in the back of an 80s Ford rotary pickup. It got great mileage but any time anything went wrong it was a nightmare to get work done on it.

spikestoyiu - 2014-12-18

The woman filming only began filming after she noticed this guy driving like the kind of person who generally drives one of these trucks. I have to imagine she doesn't drive like this all of the time. Guy in the truck, on the other hand, does.

chumbucket - 2014-12-18

Old_Zircon: I'm amazed the ever amps made it to the gigs on time.

Caminante Nocturno - 2014-12-17

Instant karma's gonna get you.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2014-12-17

All on video buddy.

bopeton - 2014-12-17

I really want to take one away for the wrong-way video, but I just can't.

The Mothership - 2014-12-17

What a bunch of assholes.
