That said, fuck Day 1 DLC for non-cosmetic stuff and fuck Evolve.

Yeah I was all set for Evolve and the whole " buys you only about 2/3rds of the game" bullshit really turned me off of it. There has been bullshit before, but I think in terms of current gen shit, Evolve takes the fucking cake in primo bullshit.

That sucks. I'm not really a gamer, but the worst for me was Simpsons Tapped Out. Yeah, it's free but strangely addictive. I'd estimate I put 20 bucks into that game over the course of a half year. 1.99 gets me the Power plant so I can unlock more characters? Sure.. I'll just drink the coffee at work today... Always excuses. But it adds up!

Cosmetic DLC is cool with me, because 9 times out of 10 it is stupid shit I have no interest in, expansion pack style DLC can be cool, if it is a substantial addition to the game ala Mount & Blade: Viking Conquest. The day one DLC and DLC which is already on your game disc/ install but needs to be activated with cash is what needs to go!

Just download a hacked version of Tapped Out. I've played it for years and never spent a buck.

I never really got that. Was it because of the rape charges against Tyson or did they just want to avoid a potential lawsuit? Seems like a lot of shows do that, especially "ripped from the headlines" ones like Law and Order. I've seen it in games too.. I think gta does it from time to time.. I guess hindsight is 20 20 but I don't think I would've made the connection if Balrog was supposed to be Tyson if they kept the original names in the first place.
