I like the theme where Kip can converse with Rosie and see him upright, but when the adults are around he's silent and on four feet. That plays into the idea of kids being more imaginative and possibly having more insight into the Dog world.

I wonder what seeing this would have done to me at a younger age, when I was just a 'Dog nut'? Seeing Shaggy DA when I was 11 was my turning point, and this has strong themes too, talking Dogs, anthro, costuming, just minus the transformations.
