It kind of reminds me of the time drunken Hayami attempts to lesbian kiss Kana Minami in the finale to the first (best) season of MINAMI-KE, and they leave it ambiguous as to what happens next (although there is a symbolic fireplace roaring in intensity as Sensei and Ninomiya-kun have implied sex on the show-within-the-show while Hayami forces herself upon poor Kana). That scene even had a puckered lip close-up, just like this one.

I doubt the ADVENTURE TIME writers would be into an obscure, never-been-licensed-for-North-America anime like MINAMI-KE, though, so I consider certain parallels between the two scenes to be mere coincidences.

I stopped after Jake had kids. I didn't like the way they handled that at all but I didn't really have any other issues with the show. My interest just dropped off a cliff and before I was semi-obsessed with it. Weird thing.

I think it had to do with knowing that Finn was going to loss the arm at some point and him magically getting back some how makes it moot. Like, I don't get the metaphor they were going for.

I never liked LemonGRAB for the same reason I didn't like Krieger in Archer or Creed in The Office. They're all just vehicles for lazy lol random humor.

But then they're everyone else's favorite characters in each show.
