It would make sense if Jaden, horrified by his and his father's movie career, decided to go back in time to try to end his own existence by blowing up his father, who is an actual Man in Black.
I always hated it when cartoons had really sweet intros and outros. Like, I'd watch X-Men just for the opening and closing animation and not pay attention to the horribly animated shit that was 21 minutes of my Saturday morning.
MIB was a pretty good cartoon; it reminded me a lot of Ghostbusters, being based off a comic-turned-movie property and having some seriously weird episodes.
Oh. I never knew it was a comic book. I just assumed it was riding the wave of X-Files mania mixed with Blues Brothers nostalgia (I think Blues Brothers 2000 was being heavily promoted at the time.) I might just try to find it since there were only 10 issues.
