Old_Zircon - 2015-06-04 Yesterday there was some event in the children's room at the library where I work and some glitter got out and ended up migrating all the way out to where I work. I spent all afternoon just waiting for the chance to make some kind of joke about Rip Taylor visiting but I never got to do it.

infinite zest - 2015-06-04 I had that same thing the other day but replace glitter with feces. Not sure which is easier to get up actually..

godot - 2015-06-05 For your future condemnations:
Typhus = fleas and lack of hygiene, mostly in military encampments.
Cholera = shit tainted water.

fedex - 2015-06-05 don't forget dysentery!

infinite zest - 2015-06-06 Yeah toileting is a regular part of my job but the movie theatre was much worse. If you ever find yourself working at a movie theatre be wary of people who take lots of napkins.. nearly every shift I'd find at least one popcorn container with poop in it because a proper shit means missing a good 2-3 minutes of a film if you're quick about it..

Rip Taylor is still alive?
|
infinite zest - 2015-06-06 Yeah.. in the grand scheme of things 80's not that old.. well.. it probably is for me.. both of my grandmothers lived well into their 90s but my grandpas died in their early 70s.. we'll see I guess.. but he's like George Burns. I was having a conversation with someone the other day about how weird it was that George Burns was still alive, and I've had that same George Burns conversation with others too, sort of in a "well he smokes like a chimney and HE's still around" type of thing.. well Mr. Burns passed away in 1996. At the age of 100. He'd be 120 now but for whatever reason people think he's still alive.
He is.. in our hearts.......... exit music

fluffy - 2015-06-06 Sure, I just didn't realize he was only in his 80s.
