You can have cellphones in jails and prisons now? Also this looks nicer than some places I've lived. :(

kingarthur - 2015-06-23

My future brother in law is a correctional officer at a state prison in Mississippi and they can't have them at state, county or federal level here, so no?

EvilHomer - 2015-06-23

I'm pretty sure the video is fake. It looks like one of his "fans" took video of a jail cell and dubbed over it with audio from one of those guided tours of Nick's RV; I believe the audio came from the one where Nick obligingly revealed to the whole world that he was shitting in a coffee can, but I could be wrong. The editing is very well done, though!

They might allow cellphones in certain minimum security prisons, I'm not sure, but Nick is apparently not on his way to one of those. The latest word is that he's in California state prison, which is not going to be a nice place, particularly for a man of Nick's disposition.

On the plus side, I know a lot of ex-cons, and the thing that strikes me the most about them is that, contrary to the popular, romantic notion of the hard-bitten criminal badass, most of them come out rather broken and childlike. They find it very difficult to take care of themselves or do much of anything at all unless told to do so by somebody else. I say that's "good" because Nick was already halfway towards being institutionalized when he got scooped up by the LAPD; if Nick can keep his mouth shut, prison might even wind up suiting him.

wtf japan - 2015-06-23

This is definitely the audio from the RV video.

infinite zest - 2015-06-23

Oh yeah.. should've guessed by the YT account name (I can't remember the old one but I'm pretty sure the account's been completely disabled), but didn't think to check. Unless he's made a new friend..

I do think most prisons have internet access during certain parts of the day but I think any social media sites (including youtube, or at least having your own YT account) is off limits for obvious reasons. Speaking of, I wonder if his videos were used as evidence, like I'd imagine Chris Chan's will (or should) be: Nick's intentions never seemed malevolent, it just seemed like a good thing that you could get away with, like finding a briefcase with a million dollars in it, or a really cool car parked in the middle of nowhere with the keys in the ignition. Some people would call it in, but I'd say a majority of people would just take it.

StanleyPain - 2015-06-23

This video was originally made by Tom Davis before he was exposed for being the creepy pedophile he is. The video is from a tour of a jail cell with Nick Bravo's audio explaining his RV dubbed over it.

EvilHomer - 2015-06-23

>> Nick's intentions never seemed malevolent

Oh no, I think he was pretty malevolent. Nick's fatal flaw was his pride; he was convinced (outwardly, though perhaps not on a subconscious level) of his own inherent superiority, and believed that his extraordinary ability gave him a mandate to control and violate others. He desired power over all else, and would have been dangerous had he not been so inept.

Like Christine, Nick is *tragic* - he was not born a monster, and he had certain heroic, even sympathetic, qualities. But while CWC is a loveable buffoon - a Pierrot or Don Quixote - Nick was something far more sinister - Raskolnikov, or even a fat, low-functioning Leopold & Loeb.

SP - was this one of TomDavis' videos? That would make sense. Maybe the video footage came from one of his own personal stashes?

Do you know what happened to him after he went dark? Has he resurfaced anywhere, or is he on the run, hiding out in an RV like Nick was the year before?

yogarfield - 2015-06-23

still, a valiant effort

Old_Zircon - 2015-06-23

I don't know, :26 - :40 is some of the most incompetent editing I've ever seen.

yogarfield - 2015-06-23

oh nick was an evil, horrible person who deserves everything he got.

infinite zest - 2015-06-23

Yeah, a lot of you guys have followed him more than I have (or at this point did) but he never hurt anyone as far as I know except for a series of lies: it's like a real-life Todd Margaret.

yogarfield - 2015-06-23

um zesty, he stole houses from dead people, and then filmed himself as he stood on their graves and mocked them. literally.

yogarfield - 2015-06-23

there's another video where he is at her grave and is outright mocking her, but this one remains: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6RFHuD8QQY

in which he tries to score some crowdfund money for a new headstone.

infinite zest - 2015-06-23

Yeah you're right.. I guess it wouldn't help if I said I thought it was just one terminally ill person he was doing "caregiving" for..I'd love a nice paragraph synopsis like you'd get in court to fully understand all of this.

EvilHomer - 2015-06-23

I still think the worst thing he did was hold that starving dog for ransom. Well, maybe it wasn't the WORST thing he did, but it's the incident that always springs first to mind whenever I have to explain Nick to somebody.

Nick had occasional flashes of decency; they averaged about one every four to six months, and signaled the end of a grand bipolar cycle/ beginning of another. But most of the time, he was a total prick, alternating back and forth between sad, drunken idiocy, and cold, sober sociopathology.

yogarfield - 2015-06-24

@homie i didn't even know about the dog. god i hate him so much.

lotsmoreorcs - 2015-06-24

So did Tom Davis get doxxed or something? What's the deal with his creepy pedophilia?

infinite zest - 2015-06-24

Yeah he can fuck himself. I had a little sympathy because I've known a few respite "caregivers" who take advantage of an individual's intellectual disability, getting them to sign for hours they didn't work etc etc.. and all they get is written up or fired at worst, but there's a lot more here. Hopefully he gets out in one piece and gets his shit together.

EvilHomer - 2015-06-24

Orcs - yes, he got doxxed. There was a big long thread on it over at the old Corky forums, but somebody got them shut down - not sure if it was Tim or Tom, possibly both.

From what I remember, it turned out that "TomDavis" was really a man named Tom Falater (aka "Tom Williams"), a Neo-Nazi ex-con who earns a living doing bad standup and photographing scantily-clad children. You can google him if you'd like; there's a fair amount of info floating around, as internet drama tends to follow him wherever he goes. For example, he was a frequent poster at the Newsgroup alt.flame.niggers, but was later banned for uploading a virus and being too much of an asshole.

Old_Zircon - 2015-06-23

I just checked and, at least back in 2012, the taxpayer cost of incarceration for one inmate in CA was just over k a year, which means that in a certain sense this is probably the highest paid legitimate position Nick has ever had.

It's a hell of a lot more than I earned last year.

As much as we all seem to love Nick's particular brand of schadenfreude, it would have been a lot more cost effective to give him a modest guaranteed annual income of, say k plus subsidized housing and mandatory counseling.

EvilHomer - 2015-06-23

You can read about this on the forums, but apparently he pled out to the two most serious charges (stealing the house and filing fraudulent paperwork), and had the rest of his charges dropped (such as the forging of the notary's signature). This has led to intense speculation that Nick may have cut a deal - pleading no contest and accepting punishment for two felonies, in return for ratting out Tim the Christian and G4T (who were the brains behind the operation, and almost certainly the ones who did the preliminary legwork; the project being handed off to Nick only at the last step or two, so he'd be the fall-guy in case things went wrong).

Hooker - 2015-06-23

Wait. Are the forums back? Link!

EvilHomer - 2015-06-23

Link is in submission description.

StanleyPain - 2015-06-23

As I said on the eagle tummy rub video, I seriously doubt G4T is any sort of trouble judging from his endless stream of videos. Also, if the rumors are to be believed, he was basically the strawman buyer that Tim was essentially grooming before he met Corky. Supposedly, Tim thought G4T was too stupid to actually pull it off (or more crazy), so he preferred to pull off the the bigger scam with Nick. G4T probably made some money somewhere, though. Of course, he pretends like he didn't.

urbanelf - 2015-06-23

Grand Theft House? If someone made a game where I could be Corky, I would play that.

Cocheese - 2015-06-23

Youre in luck:

EvilHomer - 2015-06-23

I love how the very first thing I typed, "shit in coffee can", turned out to be an actual command, only of only about five or six.

EvilHomer - 2015-06-23

What do I with the feral pig? I've tried everything to get that weed whacker string from him, including tasering him and casting a hex.

StanleyPain - 2015-06-23

I was going to make a joke about Trevor in GTA5 coming close, but then it occurred to me that Trevor's ability to sell drugs and weapons amounted to about 500 times the amount of actual effort and work Corky would be capable of doing.

Cocheese - 2015-06-23

Look under the mattress...

EvilHomer - 2015-06-23

Now I can't get past the salami nuggets. Not because I don't know what to do, but because I DO know what to do, and I cannot resist their delicious siren's song.

Cocheese - 2015-06-23

Give the Ancient Cheeseburger to the homeless vet

dairyqueenlatifah - 2015-06-23

I know this video is fake and was not actually taken by Nick Bravo (the audio comes from an old video of Nick's) but in what prison are cell phones and all this other stuff allowed? Appliances plugged into an easily accessible electrical socket? Really? And this is supposedly in LA?

I went to LA County Juvi when I was 13 and they wouldn't even let us keep our shoes in our cells.

American Standard - 2015-06-24

Oh that is SATISFYING.
