OK, I watched this thing twice, and at 1:00 she clearly states the upper and lower gums are made of lead. Yup, the father of out country walked around with roughly 1 lb of lead in his mouth. Could you imagine how high his blood levels for lead must have been?
He drank wine too, I bet the acids in it really kept that lead in place. By what I've read, he died of some kind of infection that inspired the advanced medical technicians of the day to drain him of 80% of his blood to try and save him.
There were so many things that should have Killed Washington, but he dodged them all.
The logical part of my brain thinks it all boils down to random chance, but one deep dark corner whispers, "What if this mother-fucker WAS some sort of chosen one?"
