Well a segway would provide a less shaky dad-at-the-talent-show sort of look than trying to follow close behind on your feet.. I was hoping by now Segways would've gone down in price; I used to see people riding them around all the time but not in the last 5 years. I'd probably buy one of it was a few hundred dollars just to fuck with but nope.. still pretty much drains my stupid bank account and I'd look like a stupid idiot at the same time.

I think segways are awesome. I would love to buy one someday, but as IZ points out, they are too expensive at present.

Another thing I'd like to buy is a velotaxi, but I have no clue how to get one, assuming they're even available for private purchase.

Yeah, I'll admit I'm an old fogey. I refuse to own a leaf blower when a rake/broom works fine. I don't have a dishwasher because a sponge works fine. I'd rather open the windows at night than turn on the AC. Etc etc. I know I'm weird.

I use a dishwasher if it comes with a place I'm living in; usually water's included in rent but washing a full load at once saves a bit of water overall, but I'm also pretty bad at remembering that I don't need yhr faucet on when scrubbing. But yeah I'd never buy one.

I dunno if it was like this everywhere, but 5 years ago I'd sometimes see more segways on the bike path than bikes themselves, and this is a town that's sort of known for its bikes. Guess I thought, like the razor scooter and rollerblades before them, that the price would go down once people stopped using them as much, especially for transportation.. Oh well
