In the Bay Area, there is a steep learning curve with folks like this. You get sent from class A ball to the majors right away. So you learn either to take your base or get hit by a pitch. Because all things come together at some point and things are no different between one guy and the next. You can see them digging the garbage, which most political discourse is. So either you get hit by a pitch or you learn to avoid the raccoons and stay clean. It's so hard to stay clean. Dirty.
