But this is your channel, not the penis enlargement guy's channel. Your joke needs an audience. If your joke only works for a very specific audience, and nobody in your audience fits the bill, then what's the point of making it?

Let's say I was going to make a video, and I came up with this REALLY FUNNY joke - one which could only be understood by a 4th century Latin-speaker. Obviously, there will be no 4th century Latin-speakers watching my video, and obviously, no-one will get the joke.

Like i said, the joke is only there because I needed an ending, and because I didn't want to name the product being sold. The joke isn't the point of posting this video. This video is submitted as a cultural artifact, a document of TOXIC MYTHS ABOUT GENDER, which is a term that I find more specific, less discriminatory, and more gender neutral than the vaguely offensive "TOXIC MASCULINITY".

I think the audience exists, the joke fails because it fails. It happens too fast for the viewer to comprehend, and it's easy to think I'm mocking Anita, especially since Anita gets targeted over and over on a daily basis.
