Between her victory in court, and her victory over SEGA and the Blarms, it looks like Christine's luck has finally changed.

The 1 fine is pretty harsh and would constitute a major blow to the tugboat, but now Christine's actually making money off her artwork and community donations, so I'm sure she'll be fine.

I think its the best scenario. A fine so she can realize the consequences of macing innocent GameStop employees and no jail, cause she couldn't handle that. Also they'd likely send her to a men's facility, which would wreck her.

The GameStop employee wasn't all THAT innocent; he Loomed and Threatened Christine, which he may not have meant to do, but still did nonetheless. And I've watched Orange is the New Black before: they definitely have transwomen in the female prison. They would send Christine there.

I may be ignorant to how it works. How does one get the state to recognize your choice? Can one male that clear during the sentencing? I'm sure it varies widely state by state. VA may not be the best place.

I've done gas training in the Army, and while being gassed was one of the worst experiences I've ever gone through, it's also pretty harmless, and even after being trapped in a room full of the stuff for a quarter of an hour, the pain wears off in a minute or so. Not sure how prison selection works for people with atypical gender identities. Some Kiwis were saying that they get at least their own segregated housing unit, but I doubt Christine would want to hang out with your garden-variety trannies, many of whom are Males and also Gay. It *is* harmless. The whole point of OC/ CS gases is that they hurt for a brief period of time, but cause no lasting damage, and the ill effects wear off rapidly. Hell, the Gamestop Employee wasn't even hit in the face - he got a small spritz to his chest, which is no more dangerous than dropping a Blazin' Sauce Buffalo Wild Wing on your shirt.

Also, he was totes Looming. We have an eyewitness account from Christine herself which confirms this {1}, and you have to remember that Christine suffers from PTSD. People with PTSD perceive threats in a different manner than neurotypical individuals; what you yourself think of as "not looming", might easily be construed as "looming" by a woman as victimized as Christine. Also, the dude who got sprayed was an Ass Manager. Ass Managers don't get paid a whole lot, but they're not "minimum-wage-slaves"; they make about k a year, which is more than some teachers and firemen. More than most enlisted combat troops, even! You need to make at least an E-5 paygrade before you'll see the kind of scratch a Gamestop Ass Manager pulls in, so forgive me if I don't shed a tear for that poor unfortunate soul who got a tiny dab of MACE on his shirt.

Also it all doesn't come off on your initial wash, so the next time you shower the residual stuff reactivates and you go through the pain all over again.

That's a bad comparison and you know it; if Zimmerman had merely pepper sprayed Trayvon, then the whole thing wouldn't have been an issue! The question is proportionality and authorization for the use of deadly force: there is a HUGE difference between Christine shooting the Ass Manager dead, or using a Curse-Ye-Ha-Me-Ha to murder the Ass Manager's family, and what actually happened, which was merely Christine being a nuisance.

Now this, I agree with! Christine should be trained in the proper use of pepper spray. Eight or nine hours down at the pepper spray range with a qualified pepper spray instructor, that should mold her into a disciplined pepper spray marksman, and ensure that in the future she doesn't waste any shots by spraying at her target's chest.

Christine lost, she was found guilty. Sega didn't change the blarms over her complaints, and he was not sexually abused. Bluespike was 13. Chris was sexually abusing him, by exposing himself to a minor over the internet.

Chris was found "guilty" only because she was guilty. What mattered was the punishment, and by dodging a jail sentence, she won the case. And PROVE that Sega didn't change the blarms b/c of Chris. Sega knows all about Chris and her Blarms Protest; they've made mention of it multiple times on their Twitter feed, so it stands to reason that Chris must have been a major factor in the change. And besides, what really matters here is the mission, not Chris' heroism. Sonic's arms are the right color; whatever you might think about Chris' contributions, that's Mission Accomplished.
