This movie is why I have owned pet rats. Rats are the best pets, just shy of being a monkey.
I loved this movie. The remake made me feel like I had been sprayed with cooking oil then had various hair thrown on me.
I saw in the theater, I must have been 14. The screams in the audience when the rats attacked Ernie was like nothing I'd heard before or since. I've heard nothing but bad things about the Crispen Glover version, but I still need to see it, because Crispin Glover.
