Holy Shit is right. For the record, florescent lights don't hurt. We used to break them over our heads all the time at work, you just need to make sure it doesn't get in your eyes or mouth. But flaming tables and thumbtacks underneath, haven't tried that one. .

infinite zest - 2015-11-13 Have you tried it before? They're really fun. And you're right they do hurt but it's like a slap, vs. I dunno, a bottle of Jack Daniels. My friend tried to break one over his head one time and it opened right up, and all we had were maxi pads to absorb the blood.

Bus_Aint_Comin - 2015-11-13 jack daniels seems to be the liquor bottle of choice for felonious assault, which is strange because advancements in glassmaking have rendered the bottle extremely difficult to break, which is the whole point of breaking a bottle on somebody's head.
also yr gonna have to start selling, zest. we give you that title shot against mark, you're gonna have to work it hard.

infinite zest - 2015-11-13 Yeah don't breathe 'em in either, but that applies to most things.

Old_Zircon - 2015-11-14 A well placed beer bottle could always fracture a skull pretty easily, it's as much about shape as advancements in glass. A Jack Daniels bottle, with its squarish shape, seems like it would be one of the safer sorts to get hit with actually.

infinite zest - 2015-11-14 He was breaking beer bottles over his head earlier in the night, so that's why he chose a bottle of jack, which he couldn't break. That man finished medical school a year ago and is now a doctor!

so the backstory is that vampiro has been doing color commentary for lucha underground (after a long and storied wrestling career, look him up) and pentagon has a huge penchant for breaking his opponents arms, all in service of his master. awhile ago, vampiro prevented pentagon jr. from breaking a girl's arm- starting a beef that culminates in this match.

infinite zest - 2015-11-14 I could see myself really getting into this, but the few clips I've seen don't show much of what I normally think of when I think of Lucha, which is super acrobatic type stuff which was never really a big part of the WWF (except for the Lucha wrestlers.) Besides being more fun on the sidelines, which pretty much looks like being at a show adjacent to a mosh pit, I don't see much difference between this and what WWF was doing 15 years ago.

Bus_Aint_Comin - 2015-11-15 but the shows are free that's right free- rspv only so there's that i guess

Vampiro looks so much like a younger version of Brando in Dr. Moreau.
