Heh.. it's been a while since I've worked in an office space, and pretty much facebook, email and trusted websites like HuffPo were cool as long as we weren't busy, but I caught my supervisor a few times looking at suicidegirls and cutting his toenails at the same time whenever I had a question to ask. Because of this he never gave a shit that I fucked around on Kongregate.com all day long, but the alarm sound for all the porn sites he'd look up would've been hilarious.
The irony here is that, with it's latest version, Avast is installing adware without asking. It installs a browser extension called SafePrice that is "Designed for shoppers who want to make sure they’re getting the best deals, avast! SafePrice pulls the best deals and coupons from reputable sites without making you leave your favorite shopping sites. You see the best deals and coupons in a new browser bar that is invisible when you’re not shopping." Even if you disable the extension, it can't be removed completely very easily. I had to go into the registry to remove it from Firefox. And this was on the paid version.
