I'm reading her memoirs right now. Public Grace is different from private Grace. Love and fear is an appropriate response.

She typically refuses to perform until she is paid her full fee but this often causes consternation with venues and promoters who often try to hold out on her until they can pay the second half after her appearance. This has resulted in some comedy, like the one time she was offered someone's baby as collateral, which she refused.

She should have taken the baby. Would have made a great story.

Slave to The Rhythm is one of the greatest albums ever produced.

So I love Grace, and Trevor Horn too.
