I am going to be sad about this for many weeks.

Anaxagoras - 2016-01-12
Like all the best videos, this clip was childish and somewhat inappropriate.

Old_Zircon - 2016-01-12 The overwhelming majority of women my age who I've ever had a conversation with about Bowie or Labyrinth have quickly brought up the subject of this video and the important role it played in their education.
Percentage-wise, I think Bowie's pants were almost as formative to the straight women friends I've discussed it with as summer camp was to most of the bisexual and lesbian ones I've discussed it with.
Of course the combined sample size is probably less than 10 because neither topic really comes up that often, but still. Bowie's bulge was an important cultural institution and it will be missed by many.

baleen - 2016-01-12 Bowie's pants in Labyrinth was to straight girls what Jennifer Connelly's tanktop in Career Opportunities was to straight boys. Discuss.

Old_Zircon - 2016-01-12 That sounds like a pretty good assessment, Baleen.
Also to clarify, I wasn't trying to suggest some kind of qualitative equivalency between hetero girls seeing Bowie's package and gay girls going to camp, just saying that anecdotally the per capita rates seem similar.

yogarfield - 2016-01-15 Would be accurate if Bowie wasn't wearing a codpiece. Jennifer is all real, baby.

Miss Henson's 6th grade class - 2016-01-12
Girls who loved this movie in early adolescence tend to be absolutely fantastic in bed.

Old_Zircon - 2016-01-13 This is pretty much a bunch of unused ideas for The Dark Crystal Jim Henson took out of his notebook and gave to Terry Jones to make in to a coherent narrative.
It's interesting, because The Dark Crystal is great, probably a better movie over all, but it doesn't have the aphrodisiacal properties of Labyrinth. I wonder which is the bigger factor, Bowie or Terry Jones.

Oscar Wildcat - 2016-01-13 Not for nothing does every gigolo in Tokyo look like an isotope of David Bowie.
