A little off topic, but how come nobody complained this year when Ricky Gervais did his thing at the Golden Globes, when everybody called him out for making fun of Allen without bringing up anything involving his coke habit or his DUI and the Caitlyn Jenner car crash joke just brought the laffs to the table?
Also, Tim Allen doesn't get shit because he had a coke habit. He gets shit because he was a coke dealer who ratted out the people he sold coke to in order to get a lighter sentence for himself.
Who would have expected such behavior from a guy whose real last name is "Dick"?
Not exactly sure what I'm saying; he could've brought up those things about Allen but all he said was that he couldn't act his way out of a bag and the World of Celebrities went crazy over a pretty washed-up actor. This time he was very up-front and reminded the world that their hero(ine) committed vehicular homicide and reminded everybody that Mel Gibson's a racist, and made jokes about Jeffrey Tambour (once again possibly transphobic to some in the twitterverse) and there was no real backlash like there was when he just said that Allen isn't as good of an actor as Tom Hanks when he introduced them. Who knows..
