It's apparently a meme even below the level of youtube poop. It's not copied because it's funny. Some people including me sometimes think youtube poop, if done well, can be amusing. This isn't amusing. It's just baffling.

They genuinely make me laugh. I find them hillarious. My sense of humor can be odd sometimes.
