It's unfair to single out the animation in this or any other direct-to-oblivion animated movie from Lionsgate.

Gmork - 2016-06-01

Lionsgate has no standards.

chumbucket - 2016-06-01

Kids actually love this crap. But in the odd way they are mesmerized without any sign of emotion or enjoyment.

Old_Zircon - 2016-06-01

Dogs with human haircuts does not work.

Maggot Brain - 2016-06-01

They all look like Adrien Brody.

Boomer The Dog - 2016-06-01

I think it can be done well enough, they're just dealing with limitations in the animation for one thing. I think lots of 'Human' features can be added to wolves to make them characters without overdoing it. I think the animators are trying something new too.

It's something that's discussed in A&O forums lots of times, people laughing at their haircuts, but then being told that if they looked like wolves in the wild they wouldn't make good characters, because then they wouldn't have all of the expressions they'd need as characters on the screen.

I made a fan drawing of Humphrey:

Thanks Boomer, I needed that. :)

For cheering up, I mean.

I'm here for you Homer, *tailwags*! I drew that picture when looking at Humphrey on my monitor from across the room.

Pony crossover with Alpha and Omega, if you're into the world. Now that the link is up, I can watch the trailer.

The alchemical reaction of adding screaming to laziness.

15th - 2016-06-01

Haha, I'm going to start looking for that.

15th - 2016-06-01

Wow, that's bizarre grammar.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2016-06-01

This is apparently the sixth direct-to-video sequel to "Alpha and Omega". Two more are currently in production.

It's like "The Land Before Time" all over again, except "The Land Before Time" was a very well known film that did well at the box office. Why this film that virtually no one remembers outside of furry circles has this many sequels is truly puzzling to me.

Maybe the producers still feel bad that it was Dennis Hopper's last film.

Boomer The Dog - 2016-06-01

I'll take it, but what I really want is the next Buddies film!
