Nice work. Had me going there for a minute till I saw the tags.

Cena_mark - 2016-06-08

I like Pinochet because his look inspired the creation of my favorite Street Fighter character M. Bison. Capes and peaked caps are where it's at.

EvilHomer - 2016-06-08

Actually, Cena, M Bison was inspired by Mike Tyson. You are thinking of Vega.

EvilHomer - 2016-06-08

Also, you saw the end, right?

bawbag - 2016-06-08

EH.

EvilHomer - 2016-06-08

Exactly. Vega was inspired by Pinochet, not Bison.

Cena_mark - 2016-06-08

Homer, damn it, you know who I'm talking about. I'm talking about the characters based on their US names not Japanese names. The boxer character known as Balrog in the States was called M. Bison in Japan, but here in the States M. Bison is the dictator guy with the cape and peaked cap.
And yes the end was cool. John Cena's music like Guile's theme goes with everything.

EvilHomer - 2016-06-08

Well, John Cena's music goes with everything evil, corporate, and/or dictatorial, I'll give it that.

EvilHomer - 2016-06-08

Also, you're wrong, the best Street Fighter character was Sakura.

Cena_mark - 2016-06-08

Nobody who wasn't in Street Fighter 2 can be the best Street Fighter character. Sakura is just a weaker faster version of Ryu, and her story is lame.

Cena_mark - 2016-06-08

Cena is anti corporate. He himself said that he is the definition of working class cause he works hard.

EvilHomer - 2016-06-08

We've been over this, Cena - Cena is a rich kid. His backstory is basically Karin from Street Fighter.

And what's wrong with being a weaker, faster version of Ryu? Ken is a weaker, faster version of Ryu, and Ken is awesome. Ryu is awesome too, for that matter! You're just mad because, when polled, Japanese gamers tend to prefer Sakura over any other Street Fighter character, save perhaps Chun Li or Cammy. Your precious John C. Vega Pinochet, Esq, need not apply!

EvilHomer - 2016-06-08

Think of Sakura as Ryu with blast processing.

Cena_mark - 2016-06-08

So all the Japanese favorites are female characters, surprise surprise. Of course Bison/Vega doesn't get the horny fanboy vote, but he's still the best fighter and the psycho crusher is the best move.
That blast processing analogy is terrible. Sakura wouldn't be Ryu with blast processing, Evil Ryu would be blast processing, and the SNES would be Dan.
Cena may have been upper middle class, but he still had to work hard and struggle.

EvilHomer - 2016-06-09

Blast processing makes things faster but weaker. You've seen the specs, you know the SNES was superior to Genesis. SNES is the Evil Ryu. Dan would be any one of the dozens of stupid peripherals Sega tried, and failed, to save their dying company with.

And anyways, who says it's all just horny fanboys? Japanese gamers take their videogame-playing very seriously; it's like football for them. They wouldn't vote based solely on how hot the character is, and it's obviously just sheer coincidence that the top three favorite fighters also happen to be the three most bangable chicks.

EvilHomer - 2016-06-09

Better yet, think of Sakura as Scootaloo.

MacGyver Style Bomb - 2016-06-08

And you're all wrong, Dictator's look was based off of Yasunori Kato from Teito Monogatari and General Washizaki from Riki-Oh.

Caminante Nocturno - 2016-06-09

That kid with the flat cap is far older than he looks, which explains why he thinks it's okay for him to wear a flat cap.
