I'm actually a little surprised his IQ is so low! Even assuming his claimed score is accurate (people, particularly narcissists, have a tendency to exaggerate such things), a 110 only makes him about as intelligent as your average Asian or Jewish person. Nick's not a brilliant man, but he does strike me as fairly bright, and I've always assumed that most of his cognitive problems stemmed from emotional issues and a lack of self-awareness, rather than a lack of intellectual processing power.

EH: I think Corky has had the capacity and intellectual curiosity to be intelligent, but clearly he's not as it stands. One's intelligence score goes up when one learns how to think critically and logically. I've always thought Corky would do better if he just went to community college and started studying philosophy and logic, assuming he had the right professors and peers to teach him humility and charitability.

The IQ system is stupid and flawed.
