Skunks really are not fearless.

It kind of depends on where they are.City skunks are pretty fearless, I used to see them just walking down the sidewalk in Boston sometimes.

City skunks def seem fearless. I've had a few adrenaline filled moments coming home late at night and having them attempt to keep me out of the yard.

I just keep a respectful distance and they don't bother me. In my mid 20s there were skunks living under the front steps of my girlfriend's apartment and they were so used to people they never sprayed once, we didn't even know they were there until we found a skunk turd in the basement and then started noticing them coming and going sometimes once we were paying attention.

But yeah, skunks rule the road, you've just got to let them do what they do if you know what's good for you.
