Yeah Kabbage, this is a normal feature of POEtv man, if you get enough one-stars it disappears from the front page, but it can still be seen at the 'Last 7 days' link, it's not some new punishment or anything.

Theres a few people who just seem to auto-one-star certain kinds of videos. I've noticed anything to do with computer games (especially) or cartoons, or cute animal videos.
I just imagine they are curmudgeonly old people who have somehow learned to operate computers and utilize them to spread their disdain for all things they do not appreciate.

I also reckon some users are fanatically holding onto this sites original 'portal of evil' purpose.
But the site has clearly moved beyond that purpose a long time ago. For me this site has always been (since around 2010) a interesting / weird video filter site whose major benefit is that is it small and actually has a real community.

I just assumed things like that happened because this site was programmed by monkeys.
Seriously, though, if I had a dime for every time I swore I'd never come back, I'd have....a big pile of dimes.
