His concluding rant really leads to me to think he's a sad desperate believer in the capitalism and the American dream. He probably beats himself up for having to Uber to get by, but damn it, he won't take handouts from anyone. He knows that he'll get the American dream just as long as he keeps his nose to the grindstone, and now that Trump will be president he knows he won't have to Uber much longer. The good jobs are coming back. Trump's a winner so he's a winner.

Aside from the 'us = good, them = bad' logic gone off the rails, what he might be alluding to is California's recent passing of legislation that decriminalizes minors used in sex trafficking. IOW, the law will regard such children as victims, not charged as criminals (only the adults involved would be charged). Unfortunately, the right wing rags are reporting it as legalizing child prostitution, which is either incredibly dishonest or stupidly misconstrued.

If not for that legislation, then the girl he allegedly rescued would have been thrown in juvenile detention and gotten a criminal charge on her record.

Considering how widespread sexual trafficking and slavery are in the Middle East, it wouldn't surprise me if their obsession also had some anti-Muslim sentiment behind it, too.
