I think they both have different strengths and weaknesses and compliment each other well in that respect. Not sure which is my favorite. 2 seemed to have a definite Verhoeven influence.

I will always be a predator 1 guy, but the second one is pretty great, really the only thing I would change about it is Danny Glover.

2 all the way because that Predator had a lot of personality. You could tell he's young punk trying to showboat to the others in his clan, High risks, high rewards. That's how he rolls!

Like the scene above where he understands enough of human language and inflection to fashion a saucy taunt.

One of the things I like about Predator 2 is how they showed that the Predators have rules they follow about who they hunt and who they don't. Basically, they're intergalactic big game hunters.
